The Bronze and Silver CCM packages are available via YDM servers over the web. Gold and Gold-Plus can be installed via 3 methods. They are:

1. Hosted by YDM
2. Hosted by the client
3. Hosted offsite on clients remote server account

Each option has its own individual benefits and cost implications and we will discuss these below.

Option 1 – Hosted By YDM

This is the default option for installation and the package is hosted on servers maintained by YDM Ltd. The client is able to access the system from any location with an internet connection. All backup, security and support is provided by YDM Ltd.

Option 2 – Hosted By You (The Client)

This option is for clients who may have concerns about the confidentiality of their data or who have the capabilities to maintain their own server environment. The client will therefore be responsible for the security, backup and support of the server.

We recommend that you consult a competent IT technician for a detailed quote and discuss your requirements. The required hardware is also highly dependent on what your requirements are. For example:

• Will employees be using CCM remotely (home or during events) and therefore require SSL communication?
• What is the maximum number of employees that will be using the package simultaneously?
• Will you be storing backup’s onsite or offsite?
• Etc.

We will require uninterrupted virtual access to these servers at all times. This is to ensure timely maintenance, updates and bug fixes.

You may choose to host CCM onsite in one of two ways:

1. Remotely installed, configured and maintained.
2. Onsite installation and maintenance.

The first option is the preferred method and will require the client to provide secure remote access to the server. All maintenance and updates will be done remotely and require our technical staff to manually make changes as and when required. The cost of this option is an additional 50% on the CCM package taken by the client.

The second option is available for the clients who do not want any access to their servers remotely and would prefer all access to be physically on site. This requires our technical staff to travel to the client’s location and therefore will have a further cost in addition to those for option 1. Please note - this option is available but will cost substantially more.

Option 3 – Hosted Offsite On Client Remote Server Account

The third option is a cost effective method to ensure confidentiality for clients without the burden and risk of maintaining own hardware.

The client will have a hosted server with a reliable commercial provider and the package will be installed remotely. This will work in a similar way to the first option but the account with the provider will be held by the client directly. We can recommend the server hosting company.

The cost of this option is an additional 30% on the CCM package taken by the client.
