MCUK (Muslim Communities UK)

MCUK was a newly registered charity in July 2010. It's mission statement is:

"To improve the quality of life, services and future of all communities living in the UK, by creating peace, harmony and bridging the gap between Muslims, local and wider communities. To understand the importance of Charity Begins At Home".

MCUK works solely in the UK with a wide variety of projects, ranging from feeding the homeless to empowering women. They began on the Bronze CCM package and within 6 months upgraded to the Silver package.

For a startup charity, we didn't have the expertise or time to build an accounting system from scratch. We know we wanted to accept credit card and direct debit donations, but we didn't know where to start. YDM, with the help of CSS, provided a wonderful demonstration and all our questions were answered fully. We took the system and have never looked back. We now have a good core group of regular donors and we can concentrate on the more important things, like delivering exellent meaningful projects to those in need .
